Social Networking Inside the Firewall

Overview
SharePoint has proven itself to be the enterprise tool for communication and collaboration, but it also has the ability to provide social networking at the organizational level as well. Social networking as a general definition is a way for individuals with similar interests to connect. In terms of a corporation this still holds true but with SharePoint as the foundation, social networking inside the firewall can provide many more benefits. This includes the sense of a community to allow individuals within an organization to find subject matter experts or the ability to provide a solution to problems that might not fit into the typical structured workflows of the day to day business. Join us for this interactive webinar in which we will explore SharePoint’s integration with Active Directory to build user profiles, demonstrate its colleague web part, touch on My Sites and presence information and much more to set the stage for social networking with SharePoint.
