PointBridge to Present at Chicago SharePoint User Group
PointBridge, a Microsoft solutions provider, and the Chicago SharePoint User Group (CSUG) are co-hosting a seminar on September 26, 2007 regarding increasing the effectiveness of search within Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007. PointBridge’s own Burt Floraday, solutions architect, will lead the two-part discussion.
As solutions architect of portals and content management for PointBridge, Floraday focuses on delivering Microsoft portal and collaboration solutions that improve business performance. He has worked with Microsoft’s SharePoint products since their inception in 2001, implementing Microsoft portal products for complex, global organizations.
During the two-part session, Floraday will first discuss the use of three distinct aspects of native MOSS search and index configurations, including search scopes, indexed properties and search Web part configuration. The second part will review Ontolica Search from Mondosoft – an extension of native MOSS search that both refines search results and improves relevancy.
The event will take place at the Downers Grove Microsoft offices at 3025 Highland Parkway, Suite 300 on September 26 starting at 5:30 p.m. To register visit www.clicktoattend.com and enter event code 120650.
