PointBridge Honored at Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2005
Wins Top Awards for Exchange and Advanced Infrastructure
PointBridge, a consulting firm dedicated to delivering advanced Microsoft solutions for large enterprises, will be awarded two of the highest distinctions from Microsoft at this year's Worldwide Partner Conference. The conference was created to enable Microsoft partners to continue their education on new technologies, network with peers, and recognize outstanding achievements. This year, more than 6,000 partners and 2,500 Microsoft employees will be in attendance at the event, to be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on July 8-10.
PointBridge will be honored as the worldwide winner for Exchange solution of the year. This recognition further establishes PointBridge as a leading expert working with communication and collaboration technologies from Microsoft. The award was based on PointBridge's proven track record of customer satisfaction as demonstrated in its work with Wolters Kluwer, one of the world's leading publishers and providers of information products and services.
Additionally, PointBridge has been selected as one of six finalists worldwide for the Advanced Infrastructure Partner of the Year, to be announced at the conference.
"Everyone at PointBridge considers it a genuine honor to receive this recognition from Microsoft. With more than 30,000 partners in the Microsoft ecosystem , we feel a tremendous sense of accomplishment in rising to the top," said Mike Gersten, Managing Partner, PointBridge. "We will continue to work very hard to help our customers achieve the highest possible return on their investments in messaging and collaboration technologies from Microsoft."
The winning solution developed for Wolters Kluwer leverages a number of Microsoft technologies beyond Exchange including SharePoint Portal Server and supports the organization's restructuring initiatives to migrate to a shared services model; centralize certain operations; consolidate systems; and share information more efficiently.
"The solution enables Wolters Kluwer employees to share ideas, share information, and communicate more effectively across our organization. It improves access to information and provides a more collaborative environment to better serve our customers," said Timothy Watson, ITO Program Manager, Wolters Kluwer Shared Services. "PointBridge brought technical knowledge to the project and easily integrated with our team to architect a comprehensive solution that combined Microsoft technologies and partner products."
