PointBridge Wins Microsoft Midwest District Award

PointBridge, a leading Microsoft solutions provider, announced today that the firm is one of nine organizations honored with a Microsoft Midwest District Partner Award.

PointBridge was the sole winner of the Small Business Transformation Award for work completed at America’s Second Harvest – The Nation’s Food Bank Network, the largest charitable hunger-relief network in the U.S.  PointBridge helped the America’s Second Harvest Network build an enterprise-wide intranet based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) technology. The intranet will assist the America’s Second Harvest Network to coordinate its food relief efforts.

“This is a very meaningful award for us,” said Todd Golden, director of alliances and co-founder, PointBridge. “We believe strongly in the work that the America’s Second Harvest Network does to improve the lives of over 25 million disadvantaged individuals in the U.S., and we are proud of the state-of-the-art SharePoint solution we implemented that will make it easier for the American’s Second Harvest Network to support local member agencies.”

The Microsoft Midwest Area District Awards were presented by Andrew McNulty, Microsoft Partner Community Manager, Midwest District.  The Microsoft Quarterly Partner awards are presented by the Microsoft Field Teams to recognize and promote the contributions of its partners.  The Microsoft Midwest District includes Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin and includes more than 900 partner firms.
