PointBridge to Demonstrate OCS Expertise at Microsoft Unified Communications Launch

PointBridge, a Microsoft solutions provider, announced its participation today at the  Microsoft Unified Communications (UC) Launch to be held on November 1, 2007 in Chicago. PointBridge engagement manager and Microsoft MVP, Will Robinson, is slated to speak at the event on the architecture and deployment  of Office Communications Server (OCS) 2007. PointBridge also is hosting a booth on the exposition floor.

The enhanced communication capabilities that the OCS client brings to an organization are unparalleled. The ability to leverage one technology for all of our communication needs provides improved business efficiencies and significant cost savings.” says Matt McGillen, PointBridge solutions architect.

The national UC launch tour began with an event in San Francisco on October 16, 2007.  Microsoft is positioning its unified communication products as the next generation of enterprise communication technologies for business – including VoIP and unified communications which bring together the silos of voice, video and instant messaging into a single platform. PointBridge is unique in its ability to deliver UC solutions because of its depth of technical expertise that bridges the gap between  telephony and communication technologies to solve the messaging and collaboration issues that challenge many organizations.
