PointBridge Earns Microsoft's® Midwest District Partner Marketing Excellence Award

PointBridge Leads Region with 10 Early Deployment Customers for Office 2007, SharePoint 2007 and Exchange 2007

PointBridge, a leading Microsoft solutions provider, received appreciation and recognition in the form of Microsoft’s Midwest Area Partner Marketing Excellence Award for generating business for newly released Microsoft Office 2007, SharePoint 2007 and Exchange 2007, at the Microsoft Quarterly Partner Briefing last month.  PointBridge Marketing Director Lance Russell accepted the award on behalf of his firm.

Mike Porter, Microsoft General Manager - Midwest Area Small and Mid-Market Solutions & Partners, pointed to PointBridge’s success at crafting and executing marketing programs and noted that PointBridge helped 10 companies become early adopters of recently released technologies.

“The PointBridge team worked closely with our experts to deliver insight and thought leadership to Midwest companies,” said Porter.  “We appreciate and want to recognize that commitment to partnership.  It enables all the companies involved – partners and clients – to achieve their business goals.”

According to PointBridge’s Russell, the firm utilized a variety of marketing tactics to provide in-depth information and educate potential clients about the benefits of Office 2007, SharePoint 2007 and Exchange 2007.

“Prior to the official release of Office 2007, SharePoint 2007 and Exchange 2007, we conducted educational seminars and executive roundtable events, wrote technical briefing papers, and shared our early deployment experiences on our blogs,” said Russell. “As a result, we were able to explain how the new tools would help early adopters become more productive and collaborative faster than those companies that wait.  Two of our clients, Wolters Kluwer and Arthur J. Gallagher, went on to become featured case studies for Microsoft’s Ready for a New Day global launch tour.

Microsoft Quarterly Partner awards are presented by the Microsoft Field Teams to recognize and promote the contributions of its partners.  The Microsoft Midwest Area includes Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin and is composed of more than 900 partners.
