PointBridge welcomes in the newest wave of unified communications with the launch of Microsoft Lync Server 2010. In conjunction with the launch, PointBridge announces a new service offering called the Accelerated Communication Program (ACP) for its customers. The ACP offers customers a packaged solution that includes a current-state assessment, evaluation of Lync Server 2010 capabilities, and Proof of Concept (POC).
“PointBridge will continue to assist our customers to find the best communication solution for their business. We believe Microsoft Lync will make it even easier for people to collaborate and communicate across the hall or around the world,” said Matt McGillen, Unified Communications Practice Manager for PointBridge.
The technology ushers in a connected experience, transforming business communications into interactions that are more collaborative, engaging and accessible. Lync Server 2010 does this by providing a single solution that unites voice, IM, audio-, video-, and web-conferencing into a richer, more simplified experience.
“Microsoft Lync ushers in the next generation of business communications, ” said Ashima Singhal, group product manager, Microsoft Lync. “The Accelerated Communications Program from PointBridge helps support our joint Lync customers with a reliable and easy-to-use solution that enhances business agility.”
