PointBridge Consultant Takes Top Honors at Chicago SharePoint Competition!
PointBridge, a Microsoft solutions provider, is excited to announce Amol Ajgaonkar, consultant at PointBridge, won the SharePoint Sleepless in Chicago team-based coding competition on February 2-3, 2008.
The Sleepless in Chicago – Ultimate SharePoint weekend is a Microsoft sponsored event where developers work together in teams of three for 48 straight hours to develop an innovative SharePoint application. The judging criteria is based on which team is able to plan, develop, design and test a solution based on SharePoint and SilverLight that is usable, extensible or of value to a community or organization.
Amol and his teammates created an email enabled knowledge system that searches lists of answers and automatically sends responses to end user questions. The solution stood up to the test of being both scalable and addressing a relevant business issue.
