As a member of Microsoft’s North American Leadership Team, Nyheim is responsible for delivering business value to Microsoft’s largest enterprise customers and partners in 18 states throughout the central United States.
Nyheim’s tenure with Microsoft in Chicago began in 2000 when he accepted the position as Midwest District General Manager with responsibilities for customers and partners in Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin. Previously, he worked for five years at Microsoft’s headquarters in Redmond, WA. As General Manager of Global Partners, Nyheim led an organization directly responsible for developing Microsoft’s global alliances. Nyheim also led Microsoft’s billion-dollar alliance with Accenture, including start-up of the joint venture Avanade.
For eight years before joining Microsoft, Nyheim worked in sales positions at Hewlett-Packard and Unisys where he received numerous awards for business performance. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a bachelor’s of arts in political economy.
