Joel Haugen is a consultant for PointBridge, focused on SharePoint development. He has over 10 years of experience in the IT industry, ranging from Web application development to solution developer training on Microsoft .NET and proprietary development tools.
Prior to joining PointBridge, Joel worked as an independent Microsoft Certified Trainer, teaching a wide variety of Microsoft .NET courses at training centers around the country. Joel has also worked with two previous companies to develop and deliver internal training on their Microsoft-based development tools. In addition to his training related work, Joel has worked as a Web application developer for several companies. What inspires Joel the most about working with PointBridge is not only the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, but helping customers find technical solutions to their business needs.
Joel graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Philosophy, and later moved into the IT industry. He is a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer in .NET. He lives in Chicago, and enjoys cooking, dining out, reading, walking or biking on the Chicago lakeshore, and catching live blues and jazz shows in the city.
