Derek Seaman is a senior consultant for PointBridge. He has over 10 years of experience in the IT industry ranging from classified government environments to private-sector positions and is currently focused on designing and developing access and identity management solutions for complex business environments. Prior to PointBridge, Derek Seaman worked for the U.S. Government as a senior systems engineer for over eight years, providing Microsoft, storage and information security expertise to the military and large government agencies.
He is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering, holds various certifications including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer 2003 plus security (MCSE+Security), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Security+, and storage related certifications. He currently resides in San Diego, CA and he enjoys traveling to foreign countries and honing his digital shutterbug skills.
